YouTuber Adam J P does the first play-through
On Sunday 14th December, James and I (Gill), joined YouTuber Adam J Pestridge on his weekly live-cast, ahead of the very first play-through of Legion of the Necromancer . Adam and his audience asked us a bunch of questions about the artwork and story mechanics as well as our future plans, before he and his viewers did a live play-through of the book. The paperbacks arrive... and then leave
Yesterday, I (James Gill) and James (Isaacs) and our wives convened at Hammerforge Towers in Norwich for a mass packing session. On Friday (12th Dec 2025) we received 500 paperback copies of Legion of the Necromancer. On Saturday, we packed the paperback-only orders (hardbacks arrive on Jan 4th). Hammerforge Chronicles’ debut gamebook funded in 12 hours!
We’re so happy to be able to announce that Legion of the Necromancer is fully funded! Hammerforge founders - writer James Gill and artist James Isaacs - launched their Kickstarter campaign to fund their debut Fighting Fantasy-style gamebook in late October.
